All our clear nose pads are 100% Silicone.
Any other nose pads are a Hi-Per Thermoplastic Elastomer. This material is rubber blend or compound, which are generalized rubber materials without association to a particular brand.
- ProFlex, Rubberon, and Non-Slip Rabalon are the brand names of the materials we use for our nose pads.
- Hypoallergenic rubber – contains no latex.
- Stiffer than other rubbers.
- Provide comfort and non-slip/no-pinch grip for a better fitting frame!
Although our rubber-blend nose pads should be completely silicon free, we could not guarantee that one nose pad did not touch another. We suggest wiping them off with a sanitizing wipe if the allergy is severe.
